Prishtina - Kosovo 

 

« You have 2 weeks to take 27 photos in Prishtina. »

During my last trip to Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo, where I went for a film shoot, an idea came to me: that of a photographic documentary that would be made by the inhabitants themselves about this very special city. To this end, I took 9 disposable cameras and I entrusted them to 5 women and 4 men, between the ages of 5 and 60, chosen for their different social backgrounds and professions. The only instruction I gave them on documenting their city was: « You have 2 weeks to take 27 photos in Prishtina. » I then recovered the disposable devices to have them developed in France, with the aim of exhibiting the pictures of the respective universes of these 9 inhabitants.

This project is a prototype which aims to be replicated in other cities in the Balkans.
